20 years of experience for your convenience

Grown up near the Swiss border at the Lake Constance, travelling to the region around the Lake Maggiore was an easy thing to do for me since I was a little boy.

I first visited this wild mountainous area over 20 years ago. Since then I discovered nearly every "lost" track and climbed on nearly every peak.

Finally, I decided to install a second home in Mergozzo in the year 2008. This is an ideal place to organize and start hikings both in the exciting national park of Val Grande and the vast alpine zone of Monte Rosa.

Because of that, and also because I speak italian and know the culture and the people of the region very well, I am your optimal guide for your unforgettable holiday in these isolated, inaccessible mountains!

Rely on me! I am also trained in first-aid, specially for sports injuries. So relax and enjoy your hike - I will take care about the rest, for example food, overnight-stays and the transfer within the region.

And here are some important benchmarks of my career in the mountains. 1997 I went round the Ticino, 2005 I crossed the alps from Monaco to Munich and 2007 I have reached my millionth meter in altitude. Not to forget the winter of 2010/2011 which I have passed in a small shelter in the mountains... (-> pictures)

So have fun with your well trained, friendly and reliable guide in Italy!
